The Ideas-Shared Foundation is being established as part of the wider Ideas-Shared ecosystem to help remove barriers that prevent people from participating effectively in activities intended to improve their lives, communities and societies.
Planned for launch in 2027, the Foundation will support individuals, communities and organisations by expanding access to participation, learning, capability development and collaborative opportunities.
Ideas-Shared helps individuals, informal groups and organisations coordinate voluntary participation to improve the conditions that matter to them.
Our Purpose
Helping More People Participate
Ideas-Shared believes meaningful progress begins when people recognise something that could be changed or improved and choose to do something about it.
However, the ability to participate is not equally distributed. People may lack access to knowledge, skills, networks, resources, opportunities or practical support that could help them turn ambition into action.
The Ideas-Shared Foundation is being established to help reduce those barriers and enable wider participation.
Our purpose is to help more people participate in improving the conditions that matter to them.
Our Vision
We envisage a world in which more people have the opportunity and capability to identify what matters to them, develop worthwhile ambitions and participate constructively in creating better outcomes.
Through the Foundation, we intend to help people:
- develop knowledge, confidence and practical capability;
- identify and pursue their own ambitions;
- connect with others around shared interests and objectives;
- participate in meaningful activities and collaborative initiatives; and
- improve conditions for themselves, their communities and wider society.

Building Capability and Expanding Opportunity
As the Foundation develops, its activities are expected to include:
Scholarships & Sponsored Participation
Helping individuals and communities access Ideas-Shared participation opportunities where financial or other barriers might otherwise prevent involvement.
Education & Learning
Providing educational resources and programmes designed to develop knowledge, confidence and practical capability.
Community Capability Building
Supporting communities in developing the relationships, skills and structures needed to organise around worthwhile ambitions.
Grants & Participation Funding
Developing funding mechanisms capable of supporting appropriate activities and participation.
Research
Supporting research into participation, collaboration, capability development and approaches to improving conditions.
Partnerships
Working with charities, educational institutions, communities, public bodies and other organisations whose objectives complement those of the Foundation.
Part of the Ideas-Shared Ecosystem
The Ideas-Shared Foundation will form part of a wider participation ecosystem developed by Ideas-Shared Global Ltd.
That ecosystem includes the Ideas-Shared Global Hub, Private Hubs, Intelligent Collaboration, Ambition Activities, Top 100 and the emerging Ambition Economy.
While Ideas-Shared Global Ltd develops and operates the wider participation infrastructure, the Foundation will focus on expanding access, developing capability and helping remove barriers to participation.

These arrangements will be developed as part of the formal establishment of the Foundation.

Through Ideas-Shared, individuals, informal groups and organisations can come together to challenge assumptions, make others aware, stop what needs stopping, and co-create new realities across personal, professional and societal life.
